A digital image is formed by the small bits of data i.e. pixels, which are stored in computers. When we capture an image in a digital camera in presence of light, then this camera works like a digital sensor and converts it into digital signals. (source)
It was a foggy and misty day at the Chicago Botanical Garden, and an idea struck me while I was standing in the garden looking at the lake. The images of the leafless trees and their reflections reminded me of sound waves. I wondered if I could turn them into sound and play it.
The following images are converted into sound files using Audacity. You can click to enlarge them for a better view.
Please be mindful of the volume; the sounds can be unpleasant when loud.
